Find a movie or series

Silo is in active development before 1.0. These guides are updated frequently.

Browse a library when you know what kind of media you want, or search when you know a title. These steps work the same in the web app and on a phone or tablet.

Browse a library

1. Choose a library from the app’s navigation.
2. Open a title to read its details. For a series, choose a season and episode.
3. Use the library’s filter and sort controls to narrow a long list. If a title you expect disappears, clear the filters.
4. Select Play or Resume.

In the web app, Remember library pages under Settings > Libraries returns each library to the last tab, sort, and filters you used on that profile and device. A saved filter is often why two profiles show different results.

Search and explore people

Open Search and enter a title. In the web app you can also search for people by name. When several results share a title, pick by year.

On a movie or series page, select a cast or crew member to open their Filmography. Choose Movies or Series to narrow it.

Some results, such as upcoming releases or a person’s other work, may not be on your server. If your server allows it, you can request them.

When something is missing

Look at the selected server, profile, library, and filters first. If the title still isn’t there, or its details are wrong, tell the person who runs your server. Include the title, year, and library. They can check library scanning and access or metadata matching.
